The Buchner funnel mantles provide gentle heat for solutions that must be filtered while warm. The Separatory Funnel mantles allow extraction of fluids while hot, preventing solidification of viscous material in cold stopcocks. The thickness of the fiberglass fabric between the heating elements and the soft glass wall of the separatory funnel prevents thermal strain and the resultant cracking. Viewing is possible in sizes 1-liter and larger through opposite slots near the mantle bottom. All 115 volt units are CSA certified. With separable 4-ft., 2-wire cord and locking connector.
